If you've got the "graphic equalizer" option on your radio, then you probably don't have an empty storage box over the ashtray. You have to remove that part.

If it is a coin box, you pull the cover ring off the cig lighter and there are 2 screws under there. Once that piece over the ashtray is out, the whole thing can be removed, or just the fuel relay. It's in the front (farthest) row of relays from you.
