Hmmmm, myself... now I wonder where I got that info. I know that my '67 1800S sure feels a lot quicker than our '66 122S, with similar suspension mods, alignment settings and tire sizes. After driving only the 1800 for two years while restoring the Amazon, I remember being really surprised at how much I had to turn the 122's wheel to go around a corner once I started driving it again.

The steering shafts are certainly not interchangeable. Hmmmmm.
