Cooling system question 200 1985

Sounds like a bad 'stat - opening at too low a temp, or partially stuck open. They're only about $9 (fcpgroton.com), so try replacing it and see. I think the 87C one is correct for your turbo. If the gauge "used to sit at 9:00", it sounds like it's working OK, nothing you have done with rad and stat replacement that would have affected the gauge or sending unit.

Not sure if your K-jet system runs rich with coolant temp below normal, (the LH-Jet will), but others with better knowledge can advise.
