940 Cooling fan on - no power! 900 1992

Hello everyone,

I have a curious problem with my 1992 940GL (160,000). Almost everytime my cooling fan turns on I lose power. For example if I am standing at the light and the fan kicks in and I push the gas pedal, the car barely moves for about 5 second or so and then it goes back to normal. I have a brand new alternator, battery, FPR, oxygen sensor, cooling sensor (both) and new good belts. Any suggestions? And also I have a problem starting the car in the morning when it is cold - I mean it starts just fine but idles as if its on 3 cylinders for 30 seconds or so. If I give it gas over 2,000 rpms for 5 second or so it starts idling fine. Spark plugs, wires and distributor cap are reatively new (no codes present either), filters also. IAC was replaced with a better functioning one. Could it be ignition coil? Again, any suggestion are greatly appreciated.

Alan
