Pick & pull fun 140-160 1975

Went to my first, but not last pick&pull this afternoon. The sun was out, so 40F felt good and most of the snow melted. Got two seats, gray cloth with black vinyl from a 90's 245 and butt warmers. They need cleaning but the foam looks good, MUCH better than OEM leather/duct tape.
I managed to get a hood release cable, after destroying two. Now I guess I am an expert on 240 hood release cables. Fit my 164 like OEM and I was able to put the grill back on and get rid of the coat hanger!
I also got two seat heater switches for warmer weather project. That will fill in all of the blanks in the dash. Probably put them in without wires just for looks!
My after market speakers are falling out of the doors, but the Volvo plastic surrounds are rivited in. Why did they ever do that? Now I will need to bring my drill to get some new surrounds.
Just wanted you to know that when we get these warm days up here in the northland, we know how to have fun outside.
BTW, they charged $18/seat. That is within my budget!

Thanks for all of your help,

Klaus
