Sad to say but the only stat that really matters or should, is retrospective, driver (passenger) death rates normalized for total cars registered (whatever). Those are done after the fact and therefore not such a marketing tool unless the model is in production. The studies from the early 90s put the 240 on top with the 7-series behind for first and second place.
