Nice web site! I have a 1990 740 with a bad automatic transmission. I also have 1979 240 that I am parting out with a four speed manual transmission. Any advice or things I should know about putting the old four speed in the 740? I may need a 740 shifter assembly, anybody got one? Will I lose mileage because of improper grear ratios? Thanks!
