I had a no-start condition on my 90' 760 turbo since December. Today Finnaly solved. After replacing EVERYTING, fuel computer.. ignition computer.. power stage, ignition switch, rpm sensor.. and everything in between.. Finnaly discovered my crank but no start was the freaking RPM sensor!! New sensor.. but for some reason didn't sit far enough in the bell housing.. tho I swear I bolted it down (Volvo tech says he's seen this a few times..).. pressed it in more so it was really in there.. and bingo.. starts right up!
3 months without the brick.. To check this problem.. by checking the resistance of the sensor.. isn't going to help.. need to put a scope on it.. and see the pulses from the sensor on the scope..
