Increasing '93 240 reliability. Most bang for the buck.

In my experience, a properly serviced factory cooling system is more than adequate, even in hot climates with A/C operating. This is the reason for the fan clutch and electric fan thermostat; if the fans are running all the time, the cooling system is not functioning well. First guess would be the thermostat, but if you have no symptoms...(if it ain't broke...) With the front of the engine compartment removed, be sure to thoroughly clean all the things you have access to, including radiator, A/C condensor, wiring harness connectors, drain holes, etc.

The crank pulley has a tendency to fail around that mileage. Since it's coming off, have it carefully inspected.
