beware potential internet scammers responding to brickboard classified ads

Send 'em packing. I had one provide several emails back and forth one time. Supposedly was from London and again, going to ship the car to Africa.

The big VW site www.thesamba.com has been so infested with these scammers that they produced a list of known fraudulent email addresses used in these scams. Sure enough, the guy who tried it with me was on there a couple times with small variations.

Check out The Samba and see if your scammer is on the list. These people are just a plague on the internet. Knowledge is the best thing you can use against them.
