Hello

I was talking to a 40 year Veteran of Bosch, at Bosch in Clayton, Victoria, Australia, named Bob Tate. Wow!

0 221 122 006 KW12V Coil recommended by Bosch, 1.6 to 2 ohms Primary Resistance
On bottom of Coil:
041 jan 80
526 june 75

0 227 900 014 Ballast Resistor, 1.5 to 1.8 ohms Resistance, but 2.0 ohms okay

0120 400 932 933 Bosch-Volvo Alternator K1 14V 55A 20, 14.2 Volts from B+ Terminal and Grounded at Alternator, though I didn't ask what RPM

0290 800 053 2.2uF/100V Alternator Capacitor Noise Suppressor

1B301A 12V 213 External Regulator Transpro USA

W7DC Spark Plugs 0.7mm Gap, pregapped at factory at 0.8mm

GB534 Points 0.4mm Gap, 62° Dwell, capacitiance one way or the other will cause transfer of metal to one contact or the other.

GB772 Capacitor, .22 to .25 capacitance, lower capacitance is preferrable

Current Draw less than 4 amps with:
Points Closed, Ignition On remove Term 15 connect Multimeter in series with wire and terminal, should be less than 4 Amps,
Points Closed, Ignition On, Terminal #1 (-) to Body of Distributor 100mV max, mine was .32V, and I am not sure why. I will call tomorrow, timing or memory permitting

Burned or eroded Point is typically due to Low Tension side of things. Spark Plug Gap and Spark Plug Wire Resistance will not affect it.
