I wouldnt have posted this here except that I've heard a few of you bragging about those VX and K cam finds. Those aren't what I'm after, but a suitable take-off cam and pulley would be awesome. I'm eating the bill for the mechanic since he's just a young guy with a warehouse job and his first brick didn't even land him home. I had it towed over here for diagnosis and it first looked like a jumped timing belt. You can see the thread on the 700 board for more details.
