Today the infamous cross-threaded spark plug hole was discovered on a 91 240 which was acquired within the past year. Its the no. 1 cylinder so its easy to access. While doing a google search for cross-threaded spark plug repairs, the 'back tap' came up http://www.back-tap.com/. Theres a short video there showing how it works, and it seems like a good idea. Has anyone had experience with using this system to correct cross-threading? Or are there better ideas/methods for repairing cross threading? Any help greatly appreciated.
