Just my two cents worth. I recently had loads of trouble getting my 85 Turbo wagon to pass emissions, and this site helped a lot (thanks Charlie!) I was able to tweak it to just above the passing mark, but not quite passing. I took some advice from this site and added a bottle of BG44K additive (available at NAPA stores here in Salt Lake for under $21). Drove it for fifty miles and then straight to the testing station. WOW! It passed with flying colors - instead of readings just over the mark two days ago, it now tested in the zero-point-somethings nearly across the board.
I can't help but think it has to be running better (can't tell, yet) as well if it's running that much more efficiently. Thanks Brickboard for keeping my brick on the road! And a hardy recommendation for BG44K additive. Greg
