Engine Missing at low speeds

Thought I would share this nugget.

From earlier posts; I blew a heater hose, did a tuneup & replaced all coolant hoses. The car ran fine at speed on the highway but would run very rough at low speeds. I had an OBD code pointing to no signal from the ECT which I could not get to go away. Before ordering a new one, I pulled the ECT connector and it showed blue/green corrosion, probably from the fact the heater hose was spraying it during the original failure. Anyway, I sprayed it and the ECT with some electrical contact cleaner and hooked it back up.

Voile'! Smooth idle and no misses as of yet.

Keeping my fingers crossed in Atlanta...
