catalogue help and progress 140-160

Well -- I almost have the manifolds off the engine -- I have to loosen the bracket for the transmission fluid dipstick, it's blocking the rear end of the manifold so it won't come off its bolt.

I havn't ordered a new head gasket yet because I can't figure out the part numbers for the water pump seal ring. Can anyone help me?

I have put a picture of the relevant parts catalogue page on here (www.pbase.com/macisaac/volvo)

The parts are # 2 and 3 under the fig. column. But there are three different versions for the B20B-D ALT 1, 2 and 4. ALT means alternative. The only difference is the Research Octane Number (ROT means that), either 97-100; 90-97; or 85-90. And TJ means thickness, so the ring can either be 8,5; 9,5; or 10,0.

And I don't know what the column BPSR means.

So if anyone has already figured out how to read these things, let me know what you think. I can post the serial # of the engine, but that its a B20B, carbureted, should be sufficient?

Greg
