Master brake cylinder replacement options 140-160

Auckland up North, the only city in the country. Just kidding, but Auckland does have 1/4 of the population.

What mechanic? I'm an electronic engineer and my wife is a mechanical engineer. At work I can fabricate what I want, it's just that I don't like getting dirty. I was my hands a 1000 times a day...

Not sure if you know NZ, but here we have a 6-monthly inspection to see if cars are road worthy. Mods to the chasis need be certified and there my be no structural rust, so most likely mods to the brakes would also need certification. But if I use Volvo parts it should be fine. I've fitted retracting safety belts myself without them knowing it. If anyone is wondering, all the mounting points are already there, just covered in masking tape under the paint. Belts off a 240 fit, and I got ones from early 80's. The 240 center buckle mount did not fit on my 144, but I found that the front belts would clip into the rear clips of a 740 that a friend was stripping with very minor milling of the belt buckle. It just would not latch because the buckle did not go in far enough, and milling the center slot about 2mm deeper did the job.
