SRS and Pyrotechnical restraints 900 1994

My 960 wagon has pyrotechnical seat belt restraints and an SRS system that says it needs to be 'serviced' after 10 years. Does anyone know what this entails? Is this something that only a Volvo dealer should do, or is it something that is fairly easily done by an owner shade tree mechanic?
