Are there any manifold options for dual carbs for B18/B20 other than the funky stock manifold with the secondary butterflies and warming passageway? Maybe there are certain years where Volvo provided a simple, straightforward manifold for dual carbs? Might be aftermarket options?
I'm pretty unhappy with the aftermarket manifold for a Weber DGV on my B20B '70 145S. I don't like the unequal runner lengths and assymetrical flow path.
I like SUs OK, but don't care for that complex stock manifold. I'm almost inclined to save up for a Weber DCOE setup.
I did see the recent comments suggesting that the cross-over manifold reduces need to balance carbs. Should be preferred to balance carbs, with or without cross-over manifold.
