Going to have a junky good time...

Prices seem to vary widely around the US. Some places will sell you a transmission for $25, others $100 or even more. There is no "ripped off" except your system of values.

But any DECENT diy yard will have a list of prices posted. If there's no list or if the item you want isn't on the list, ask before wasting your labor.

Off the top of my head, bring a good set of 1/2" drive sockets, ratchet and extension(s), and combination wrenches to match. I think in swaybars you're looking at 15/17/19mm fasteners - best to have the whole set. Also bring screwdrivers, vice grips and anything else you might need to pull misc parts.

If you live anywhere where there's water in any form, don't forget the can of PB Blaster.
