How to reset radio code 200 1993

The display must say "code" before it will accept the code. "EEE indicates the wrong code was entered 3 times. I believe the 240 radios require a 24 hour wait before a new attampt can be made. The radio must remain conected to the car and the memory fuse must be intact.
