B16 /B18 head interchange

This is probably a dum question but why would you want to do that?
The B16 has siamese intake ports, smaller ones at that, smaller valves,
smaller exhaust, etc.

In general it is a good idea to keep the same head if you can. The only
real exception I know is that if you bore a B18 to the B20 size it is better
to use a B20 head. (but if you got a B20 head, how about the rest of the
B20 engine? It is probably better in some respects too.)
