harmonic balancer key

When I broke off one of tose over Memorial Day weekend a feew years back, nobody was open, of course.

Desparate, I drilled out the broken key and inserted a bolt. Then I ground off the head, cut the thread to proper length and maybe squared it off a bit. Still working. Once the big bolt on the front of the crankshaft is tighened, there is no movement on the key.

It is for alignment purposes.
