A/C Decision

Both are worth fixing. The likely cause is a leak, pobably from a hose or a condenser. Before spending any money, have a shop run a vacuum and find the leaks. Then you will know how much the bill will be. You are best advised to (1) fix the leaks and (2) convert both to R134 using the Volvo kit, which comes with a new receiver dryer and oil, needed in any event. Flushing the systems and adding new oil would keep things clean.
