Well I'm restoring a 67 122. After I finished my father and I were going to start restoring his 67 122 that he bought new. It was sitting in a yard of cars "in storage".... The enevitable happened yesterday, the garage owner had the junk cars towed away, and my dad's car was in there.... The car was a victim of cancer, but it had some nice things that would have been good to have for parts Overdrive, some custom gauges etc etc. I went to the scrapyard yesterday and couldn't find the car anywhere. I wrote notes and put them on all the doors to the yard (As they were closed). Today my dad calls me and told me they crushed it last night. I went to the yard to try to get the tranny out of it along with the shortened driveshaft. Man when they crush those things they're done..... Tranny was broken in three pieces etc etc.. When I got to the yard the owner informed me that they had just crushed it this morning.... I was very upset because I left them several notes last night stating my phone number and telling them to call me at any time!!!!! What to do now who knows. The car had excellent steel front fenders and excellent doors. Besides that it was a 500,000 mile car, so it was beat...
End of Rant, time to go work on my car.
