Starting problem with Volvo 240

1986 with a 1986 wiring harness? For some reason, a swiss cheese wiring harness always takes out the coolant temp sensor. It'll also take out your air mass meter that was "adjusted" not replaced. Either of these will give you a rich mixture. Replace the plugs, it will help you get started. The next morning...unplug your air mass meter...see if you can get the car started and stay running. Next, gingerly apply the gas, can you get the car moving? If so, first stop air mass meter.
