i hope you, your spouses and bricks are all fine. just a quick question: i used to have an oil leak, which is now repaired. the mechanic of course did not take the time to degreade the engine compartment.... you can imagine how the engine looks like after losing approx 4 qts of oil.... ugly, i can tell you.

now, how do I degrease it without getting water to the wrong places? do i just take the intake manifold off? or should I not care, just spray it with degreaser and then with water? also, if I leave it as it is, will it damage the engine pretty quick?
