Jkord, I am not 100% sure about anything. However, the manual that comes with it states that "Though it is small, it is of the same function as special tool of its kind and applicable to all models since 1996 with 16-pin diagnostic for generic OBDII protocols (SAE JI850 PWM, SAE JI850 VPW, ISO 9 141-2).
The manual has two tables it says to see table A for SAE OBDII DTC definitions, and table B for manufacturers OBDII DTC definitions.
Table A codes start at
0100 mass or volume air flow circuit malfunction
through
0804 14 upshift(skip shift) lamp control circuit malfunction
Table B codes start at
1000 OBDII monitor testing not complete
through
1899 P/N switch input stage
It seems to cover all the sensors for the engine, electrical, and emissions..
