T5 Transmission Conversion from Automatic 700 1989

I have a 1989 760T with automatic transmission and indepent rear suspension. Has anyone converted from the automatic to the T5 manual transmssion using the adaptor plates from Vintage Performance Development or can refer me to a website. I would appreciate any comments, guidance as to the costs, difficulty with the conversion. Thank you.
