Loud Fuel Injectors 700 1989

Should I be concerned that I can hear my fuel injectors clicking at a ditance of about a foot(12 inches)? I use to use the handle of a screwdriver to hear them but now I just have to put my ear in the vicinity of them. No drivability problems, 0-60 mph takes about 13 seconds, 23 mpg, minor idle problems~after highway speeds idles @ 1500 rpm, start and city drive idle @ 750 rpm. Thanks for any info.
