dash pads/caps solution 120-130

I am restoring a 66 wagon and I am not particularly interested in historical accuracy, though I do want things to look good. Additionally, I am on a budget. Spending my college money on a cool car makes cost friendly alternatives a solution. I needed a new dash, had a severely warped old one(cant cover it) and was NOT gonna spend $240 for what I feel is a decorative luxury. My solution: IPD dash cover (garage sale $35), Great Stuff foam - $8.00
Shaping dash foam with a wire brush - priceless.

I filled up the backside of a dash cover with foam (make sure to mask edges), and it took two times to fill all voids, cut off as much excess as I could with a knife and proceeded to form and fit until it was right. A wire brush on an angle grinder works well.

VERY MESSY

Good luck,
Josh
