Stalling Problem 200 1981

I assume you've done the usual cleaning of the flame trap?

did the '81 model have the AMM?... if so it may be getting flaky.

if you have an AMM see if you can find another one (junkyard or friend with similar Volvo) and put it in to see if it runs better.

if you have a voltmeter you can test the O2 sensor for proper functioning as the car warms up.

it took me about 8 months to find the cause of my intermittent stalling ...

very satisfying, however when I finally found it... so keep thinking!
