...the guy probably checked the belt tension, and feeling it to be on the loose side, automatically said "belt tensioner"...figuring the car has one as most modern cars do (and by tensioner, a device with a spring which keeps the tension CONSTANT is typically meant)...and our cars clearly don't have those...only provisions for making fixed ADJUSTMENTS (and I wouldn't call those tensioners either, sorry George)...I think it was more a semantics thing than the guy trying to sell you something you don't need...Batalia needs to edumacate him!
