Knock sensor torque

The early knock sensor has a flat top, and is known as a type 1. The late knock sensor has a domed top, and is known as a type 2. Type 1 is torqued to 8 ft-lbs, and type 2 is torqued to 15 ft-lbs. Type 1 is on the left, and type 2 is on the right in the accompanying photograph.
