volvo electronic speedo fried?? Please help! 200 1990

If you connected the tach wire to the cluster and you don't have a tach, the board on the speedo is fried. been there, done that, and I swapped the board from another speedometer that I had laying around, to keep the miles right. The easy fix is just to replace the speedometer or the entire cluster. BTW, if you don't have a tach, tape up the connector on that wire so you don't make that mistake again.
