I believe the lines on the Volvos are what they call a double flare and they are tough to do. New brake lines are inexpensive and if you take your time in bending to match the originals it is probably the best way to go.

Bending the new lines around something that closely matches the needed radius works best. Avoid doing anything that would put a sharp bend or kink in the new line. Don't forget to antisieze the connections and you will never have to worry about getting them off.
