injectors hardly working. 82-240 LH 1.0

Hey board,

I can still here the injectors clicking, but very irregular. Instead of click, click, click, click... I hear: here a click, there a click, and maybe a click click, and then no click, all the while engine is cranking.

fuel pumps are working steady and well.

With the voltmeter on the white or green injector wire I can see changing voltage 10v, 11v, and I think now and again id see a negative like maybe -2v or something, and then nothing. The engine will fire sometime but run for only a second.

Ive checked grounds: all good. Ive checked the brown wire from the system relay all the way to the ecu: all good.

Ive checked pin #1 at the ecu and read near battery voltage. With test light between pin 1 on the coil and groung I get a pulsing light while bumping the starter. A steady on light when I turn the engine over normally(assume its pulsing but to fast for the light to react, right?)

Ive checked the continuity of every wire envolved.
fuel pumps run strong.

Also,on the blue wire between term 15 of the coil nd fuse no.11 there is 26.7 ohms of resistance. Is there a resistor designed for that circuit. Or is this corrosion. None of the exposed connecting points show corrosion. Of course part of the wire is under the dash and I dont want to dig it out.

By passing this wire with another allows battery voltage to the coil term 15 previously I was getting about 3v.

About 3 wks ago I had bypassed the circuit directly to term 15 of the coil. But the resistance was still in the circuit. Fuse 12did blow. Twice. The bypass wire was installed on the unfused side of fuse 12.

I guess Im wondering if I created a condition that killed my ecu.

I hope someone understands what the heck Im talking about and can help me understand this.
Watever else I do I will a run a fresh wire to by pass the resistance. As long as I dont find out that the resistance belongs there(im doubting it). I want to eliminate killing another ecu when, and if , get one.

Im trying real hard not to be in the market for another ecu($250 used). If I am Id appreciate any advice as to how best to accomplish getting one. It is the rare one from the LH 1.0 system. Im suspecting the ecu is toast.

Thanks

Lawrence
