Hi.
I have a 91 740 that i just bought with 101000 miles on it after my 86 740 died at 250,000+ miles. Everything was trashed on the '86. I got the 91 for only $1500 and it is cherry. Here is the problem:
The other day my check engine light came on. I did open the little box on the strut tower and put the wire in terminal 2 and pushed the button and it revealed code "1-1-1." which as I understand it means "no faults."
Not sure what to do. I was thinking of just replacing the 02 sensor for kicks.
Also, the car is running fine, but the light is irksome.
