Is it time to say goodbye to the 760T? 700 1989

There comes a point when you get the one sack of crap right after the other, when you need to think about getting rid of the car right? My car has 212K miles on it. It has been well maintained. I HAVE NOT raced it even though the turbo has tempted me. I guess after a while when you start having one problem after the other it just makes me wonder whether or not to trade. So far it's been $600 for rear wheel bearings, $200 mass air meter, $100 fuel pump, water pump, brakes, a couple hundred dollars in air intake hoses, and hundreds more for diagnostics and other minor repair that i do myself. This isn't horrible but I have only had the car long enough to drive it for 9,000 miles. Plus it just seems that there is always something. My main question is, does anybody else have this many problems? I am just afraid that I'll put all of this money into it and the trany will die or something. Do you all get pretty high miles with these things? I've heard both great and horrible things about older Volvos. What do you all think? What kind of milege do you have on yours with orginal engine and trany? Thanks!
