While having my front seat taken apart to fix my seat heater, I was trying to figure out how to get some more needed legroom. The notches the forward/back arm lock into still had two more slots not being reached when the seat was all the way back. There are stops(bumps) that limit the travel on the inside track. I took out my Dremel tool with a grinding stone and ground them down. This allows the seat to slide back one more inch and locking into the last notch. To prevent sliding off the back end I crimped the ends of the inside track outwards with pliers to duplicate what the other bumps did.
Now this week I've enjoyed more comfortable driving with the extra legroom and a working bunwarmer. Two more front seats to fix.
