There are several things that apply. Probably the most important is to make
sure your tires are good and hard. Soft tires make it hard to steer.
I run 30-35 psi in mine (122, same suspension).
Also condition of ball joints and other parts in the steering linkage and
suspension will affect that. Some items get loose but sometimes they
get tight.
Wheel alignment is another factor that makes steering easier, likewise
fully-releasing brakes. You can check for this after driving the car.
Using due caution, touch the brake disks. They should be warm but not
hot enough to be painful unless you have been doing a lot of stop and go
or hard downhill driving. They should also be about the same temperature.
If one is significantly hotter, it is probably dragging.
