Temp Gauge Spike update... 200 1986

Temp gauge started spiking about a week ago. Then, last night the car shut down completely at a stop sign...no lights nothing. She tried to turn over but wouldn't catch. I opened the hood to inspect the battery and noticed some sparking at the battery's ground. I finally got her started and tightened the ground screw at home. This morning the temp gauge was back to normal. Thought I'd share a happy ending!
