I've read all the similar cases with interest, but can I run my problem by everyone anyway please.
My volvo is a 940 SE turbo 170k miles auto. About once a week, just when you're not expecting it to like when stopping at a junction at the brow of a hill, or turning a corner at slow speed with your foot off the gas the engine will cut without you noticing and the first thing you know is the steerings gone stiff and your brakes are wooden, never fails to make my heart miss a beat!
After reading the FAQ I tried rpm sensor, didn't work, next I'll try FPRrelay. Any other ideas please?
Also ABS light is on after I tried the brakes on snow, comes on after a minutes driving, can't get a reading out of my diagnostic at all on plug3, found the fuse for it on the relay - it's fine, and get 1-1-1's from the fuel and ignition tests, I'll check the sensors etc but it would be nice to get help from the diagnostic unit - again any ideas welcome thanks
