While you are outside the car, with the sunroof in vent position, you have to unclip the headliner section from the roof section-- this doesn't involve any screws, just two metal clips. Follow the instructions in the faq; I use a flathead screwdriver to force the clip. Next you go back inside the car and lower the sunroof to closed position. Then, with your hands on the sunroof headliner, you carefully but forcibly slide the now-detached headliner back into the roof of the car-- be careful to slide it straight back, don't let it go at an angle as it might get stuck. Don't slide it so far that it disappears over the rear seats-- leave a lip of it in view.
THEN you see the 8 screws which hold the sunroof in place, and from there you should see what needs adjusting. There are four screws in the front and 2 on each side. It's usually the ones on the side that give trouble, in my limited experience.
