drl's 900 1991

i got a '91 940GL with euro headlights (living in the uk so its favorable). I want to turn off my drls (its not illegal here and they really irritate me - i do early mornings and i end up shining my lights in my sons window every morning, usually waking him up)

anyways, i can turn off the rear markers and side markers but not the headlamp itself (the main offender) by putting the switch between settings. The switch does not have any kind of screw to change its setting so its going to need rewiring.

also, does anyone know the current going into the swtich, i might be able to rig up a switch which cuts all the wires so its off.
