Body work experts. I need some help! 700 1992

Good evening all.

Allsnakes refused to repair my damages. So i am going to replace my driver side fender and hood myself with the help of another volvo owner/mechanic. He has a black a hood and fender from a 90's 700 series 16v Volvo. Has anyone ever swapped these parts before? This is my first time doing something like this. The hood pretty much looks really simple to swap out. My concern is the driver front fender. A few bolts up top there, two bolts inside the door area and all of the wires etc. that are on the inside of the fender. I'll also need the inner fender plastic liner too. Doesn't seem too bad but it looks a little intimidating. Any and all advice/ pointers will be duly noted.

Got a quote from a reputable body shop that work on imports mostly Volvo. This place get alot of work from dealers and the like. 1500.00 to do my car. Right now i just don't have the extra money to put down so if i can get the parts installed myself, all i'll need is just the priming sanding and painting. I don't mind driving a white Volvo with a couple of black parts. As long as they are properly mounted and clean. I worry about the details come later.
Thanks for everyone's input.
