Odometer and speedometer 200 1980

I found out today that there are different gears that fit in the overdrive unit that runs the speedo cable depending on what axle ratio you have. I thought that the 240 had a standard ratio of 3.31:1. It actually has four different ratios from 3.31:1 up to 3.9:1 (mine). I replaced my overdrive unit a few years ago and my speedo read 10 MPH too high. I didn't put those two together until I started trying to get my odometer to read correctly. So I bought the correct gear from Volvo and now my speedo works properly. I'm assuming that my 10% odometer error is also corrected but havn't been able to get out and calibrate it yet.
