Front shock (strut insert) diagnosis needed

Good early morning,

I was given a pair of Tokico HP Gas ('Blues') strut-inserts out of a scrapped Volvo 240.

One of them, when half-compressed, will rebound with .5" of fade, accompanied by a slight clunk. Apart from that, it behaves fine.

Will that insert provide additionnal service, worth that I install it, or should I just forget about it?
