Guess I never find myself speaking directly to them, but often in the third "person":

The Red One
The Other Red One
The Two-Forty-Five
The Blue One
The White One
The Silver One
The Black One
Grandma's Nine-Forty-Four

Once to avoid the Red One / Other Red One confusion I tried to identify them as Stinky and Ugly. Ugly is still Ugly, but Stinky's been scoured of all that heritage.
