Cold Start Injector 200

What's the scoop with the cold start injector. Both of my 1990's have one but the intake manifold I pulled from a 1993 doesn't. The Bentley manual list all LH2.4,3.1 as having the cold start injector. Was going to use the 1993 intake on a 1990. I think I should be able to elminate this injector. Any know for sure.
